  2. Made a few more jigs with a modified smaller hook bend. I'll call this color rusty beans. It was a good last trip of the season on John's boat, but I'll ...more def be looking to get out on some charters this winter and ice fishing is probably coming soon too!

    1. NJ Squatch 0
      way to close the season!
    2. not a good trait for a fisherman imo
    3. i think its pride arty... he'd rather catch less or smaller fish in his own spot in his own way than take some advice or try someone else's idea and maybe ...more catch more or bigger
    4. we both know the answer to that robert!
    5. Definitely a cool looking one! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Wait a second..... where is your pinky hiding!?????😁😁😁🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣
    6. Nice catch Chris. Nothing like a homemade lureπŸ‘πŸ‘
    7. Calico Tog. We would have had the boat limit if he wasn't so hard headed. We passed over some nice bottom and I think he is afraid of losing his anchor. I guess ...more he forgot I am a certified scuba diver as well as an excellent welder. Keep your fingers crossed maybe I can get my boat for next season.

    Tautog with a Crab

    1. Never tried the Blues. None up this way
    2. the lips are soft jimbo
    3. Auldon Thomas 0
Blue cats are the only ones worth eating....I can fry up a small blue and mix it with crappie filet and no one will know who ate the cat... LOL
    4. Jimbo Harwood 0
They look like they could be a challenge to catch.. are those lips hard or soft.? they look hard
    5. These are one of my favorites to fish for. They’re not easy to hook and are very good at stealing your bait. So it’s more of a challenge.
    6. Jimbo Harwood 0
      Nice!! πŸ‘πŸŽ£πŸŽ£

    2. i prove him wrong all summer long fluke fishing for years and he never changes haha
    3. He doesn't want to be proven wrong. That day is coming soon
    4. i think he has something against going from really good, to epic fishing! scared to try i guess.
    5. Jimbo Harwood 0
sounds like he should listen to his mate's once in a while.. lol. but like you said its his boat. Still did a GOOD job!! πŸ‘πŸ‘
    6. Thanks guys. John can be very stubborn most of the time. We tried to get him to move a few times. We went over some very nice bottom which is where the big fish ...more hang out. He just drove right by it. I think he’s afraid of losing the anchor. I told him that I’m also a welder and a scuba diver. I’ll retrieve the anchor or make another one. So frustrating but it’s his boat.

    3. I remember going to North Carolina a few years ago and I loved catching these things off the piers at night πŸ˜‚ My favorite ocean fish out of the few I've caught, ...more they fought the hardest. Watch out for those spikes!
    4. These are supposed to be endangered species what a bunch of crap. The UK uses they for fish and chips. We should send all of them over there. They are a nuisance. ...more Notice the spikes on their dorsal fins they try to stab you when you unhook them.
    5. I couldn't have said it better myself Chris! 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣..... oh wait, I already did! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ»
