Lake Sunapee is a glacial lake, the fifth largest contained entirely in NH. The lake is fed primarily by underground springs. The water clarity and quality is exceptional. On a sunny day, visibility can reach nearly 30 feet deep.

    The only access is by carrying is a canoe or inflatable. Shore fishing in the park is an option. There are Rainbow and Brown Trout, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass and Pickerel. Well worth the trouble.
