    Finally made it out when the fish were on fire! They were hanging deep but very active. Easily caught over 50 in the mid day heat. Released this breeder.

    Fishing started out rough with lots of wind and by late afternoon the crappie turned on. Caught Some on yellow jig, rooster tails but mostly orange Beetle spin. ...more I love this time of year!

      I have fished the beetle spin in most all of the lakes and rivers around north west Florida and i find the best one for me has been the catalpa colored. Black with ...more chartreuse stripes.
