  6. Largemouth bass fishing has picked up. Fish are being caught in the bends of the creek channel on watermelon colored soft plastics. Target the channel ledges. Weedless ...more plastics are usually the best way to fish Calling Panther, but crankbaits and rattletraps can easily be fished off the levee in the afternoons.
    Bream fishing has been slow, with a few being caught on redworms fished on the bottom. Also, try using crickets and redworms around brushtops in 3-6 feet of water.
    Catfish were biting on livers and hot dogs along the dam. Also, try the creek channel in the lake as well as the creek at the nature trail. Catfish are being caught at night right now as well.
    Crappie fishing is picking up. Try fishing minnows or jigs around tops in medium depths of water. Also, try the structure around the dam.
