      I’m originally from Long Island and years ago we used to catch strippers just like that using live eels and clams in Fire Island inlet. I live in Edgewater Florida ...more now. Been in Florida for 28 years. Fishing is pretty good here too. Big red and Black drum. Caught a 35.lb red. Black drum are soon coming and can run up to 80lb. in the inter coastal waterway.

    Caught 143 mackerel, but only got one 27 in striped bass. Thought that was impossible to do.
