A few minutes later I saw the line go tight and told him to come grab it. He started to reel and as it came close to the surface I noticed it

  4. Details: Atlantic Croaker

Between all their catches I managed to land a few nice ones myself. Caught a few nice Croaker and Spot. I went for the deeper approach casting out to the edge of ...more a deeper pocket and reeling back until the line came tight. Had a hard time keeping bait on the hook as most bites came soon after setting the bait and I had a full plate helping the boys manage their catches haha! Was an awesome time!!

  5. Details: White Perch

My nephews are down with my parents for a week and they are some fishing fiends just like their Uncle. So today we grabbed a couple bags of Bloodworms and hit Chaptico ...more Wharf. They slayed em this morning. Proud Uncle to put them on so many fish today. Here's a few of their better catches. They had a ton of luck just dropping right off the edge of the pier. Found a couple honey holes and were

  6. Gorgeous morning on the pier with my lil buddy. Sunny in the mid 70's with a nice breeze. Fishing on outgoing tide. The boat lift wasn't producing today ...more so we fished the opposite side of the pier. He caught a nice Perch while I caught a mix of Perch, Spot and a few nice keeper Croakers. Found a deeper pocket and tried keeping the bait right on the edge. Produced a ton of bites for us.

  7. Details: Atlantic Stingray

Morning started out nice with my lil buddy...partly cloudy with a nice breeze and outgoing tide when we showed up around 8am at Chaptico Wharf. Within a couple hours ...more the bite started to heat up and it became a scorcher pushing 90*F & up. We toughed it out for as long as we good but the heat got to be too much for my buddy. Brought in a nice mix though with the Ray being the bite of the day.
