    Caught 20 plus fish today mostly around 2 lbs, on beds. This on weighing 3 lbs 9 oz! I saw the bass on a bed, casted for about half an hour until she got angry and ...more bit my lure. Partly cloudy conditions, light winds, and low 60s water temperature.

    entered in the piney run big bass tournament on Sunday. managed to catch this 2.3 pounder at 6:30 am on a buzzbait. wanted to keep her alive so we went back to the ...more weigh in immediately, first fish weighed in. check backed in 15 minutes before the tournament ended and was really surprised to see that I was in 2nd place because the last tournament was one with a fish close to 6 pounds.

      but in the last 5 minutes I got knocked out by 2.5 and a 2.6 pounders. I guess it was a tough day of fishing for everyone.

    I caught this 3 pound bass today on Piney Run at about 11:00 AM. I let the fluke fall for a while in some weeds and this fish was on when I reeled in the slack. ...more It was mostly sunny, minimal wind, and 58 degrees.

    I went out on the yak this past weekend on Saturday. It was completely overcast with some intermittent sun throughout the day. The fish were up shallow along shorelines ...more where I found them. I caught all my fish either casting parallel to pads along the bank or paddling up into the pads and letting the wacky worm sink to the bottom between pockets of pads. Caught 5 fish total.
