Took advantage of another beautiful morning with my buddy. Low 60's and sunny with a light breeze. Fishing slow around sunken timber. Ticked the Chatterbait ...more off a branch and let it sink. This guy picked it up and swam the other way with it and the fight was on. Landed my first Bass of the year and this time my buddy wanted to hold it for a pic. So happy winter is finally leaving us haha!

The season has finally started for me and my lil buddy. Bite was tough and although I didn't land any my lil dude got his first of the year. My lil buddy started school today so I killed some time before work by wetting my line. It's been a while since I've been out and posting. Between work and ...more family events I just haven't had much extra time. Felt good to get out haha! Caught a couple nice chunks casting on the shallow end of the pond and bringing the chatterbait back in with a medium paced retrieve pausing every so often.
