I know, I've been restoring some Heritage Laker tip ups for my buddy's 5 year old twin boys. It's been keeping me busy while we wait for ice.

  10. Lake Annabessacook is a 1400 acre body of water located in Winthrop, ME that features an extremely underrated warm-water fishery. The lake reaches a maximum depth ...more of around 45 to 50 feet. What makes this fishery so special is the availability of structure to fish in just about every corner of the lake. Steep drop offs, tree structures, and island rock piles make up some of the best places to catch quality fish, with the daily chance of snagging a true trophy. If in pursuit of some gorgeous largemouth bass, fish the northern half of the lake – jerkbaits, texas-rigged finness worms and shallow running cranks are the best options to explore these coves. Running the lake with large, loud topwater baits and crankbaits will help you track down big northern pike; some getting well into 40+ inches. There are some solid smallmouth available at the rockier southern end of the lake, as well as the rock piles between the two main islands. The biodiversity of this lake is truly respectable; you could catch some brute northern’s, quality largemouth and smallmouth bass, white and yellow perch as well as crappie. Largemouth tips: Jerkbaits and stickbaits seem to work year round on this lake, getting up on the edges of the south islands, as well as fishing the small drainage cove to the south east.

    Go get em guys!
