    Last blert didn't work. Caught a week again on Bayou St. John. About 3 1/2lbs. Surprised to say the least! Right across from museum.

    Caught last week while fishing for bass. About a three and a half pond trout hit a Rattling Rouge after I saw a strike on top the water. Looked like a couple may ...more have been cruising shoreline feeding. Very surprised to say the least!

    MY FIRST RED?? tuesday 9:45 pm where bayou st john meets lake pontchartrain ("lovers lane.") 16" gear: im not joking. zebco dock demon shimano 4000 ...more series reel 50 lb braid 1/2oz egg sinker above a swivel with a 20lb fluro leader and 2/0 gamakatsu octopus hook.

    I hadn't been bass fishing in a while. Been trying to learn saltwater but got tired of not catching much. Hit this guy after about 5 minutes. Beautiful 3.04 ...more lbs. fish. I love bass fishing!

    12 of the 15 keeper bluegill and cichlids @la_outdoorsman_13 and @louisiana_angler and I caught today. Most of the bigger bluegill seem to be hanging out in deeper ...more water.

    Biggest cichlid today with @louisiana_angler and @la_outdoorsman_13. We caught 15 keeper bluegill and cichlids today with many more small ones mixed in. No bass ...more today although I did see a few cruising the shallows. Caught most of our cichlids on beds and most of our bluegill on the walls of the esplanade bridge.
