    No fish picture worthy but like to log them any way. 4 skipjack and one green sunfish. All on worms

      This lake is under populated on Largemouth Bass due to Over Fishing and the mere fact it hasn't been stocked in years. Their are big carp plus some catfish here ...more as well as monster Red Ears.

      @BassMasterDustan1 This lakes about an hour 45 minute drive from UK's Campus. Keep this in mind you need a state fishing license plus a Fort Knox Fishing Permit($14) ...more to fish on this lake.

  6. I thought hard & long about what to post for this blert & I hope the person who did this sees & learns something. I spotted big birds flying overhead ...more an hour after I chummed the water with home made carp bait, I thought they were close but what I found was worse. I saw this Carp on a bank next to a 3 foot deep bed covered by trees. I went & measuered the Carp & it measured READ BELOW⬇⬇⬇

      look at the jaw bone on him you can see the meat from the fish that's been pulled by vultures. If it wasn't the same fish it must've been a fatter 38 ...more inch then @Cadenbrugger

      around my something helpful because we have a bad problem with over fishing here in Kentucky especially for catfish on the Ohio River which are commercially overfished ...more for profits in paylakes.

  7. Caught This 17in Bass Yesterday At Lower Douglas Lake while trying out some new lures I purchase at Ollie's. Casted the Super Fluke Jr out aproximately 65 feet ...more let it sink all the way to the bottom & let it sit for a minute or two. The I started slowly reeling in and twitching rod as to make the lure pop & dart in the water. I would twitch the rod at this rate ( : = pause in retrieve) READ BELOW⬇

  9. Went back to Lower Douglas Lake yesterday afternoon for round 2 action from 645pm to sunset. Nothing on lizards or any other soft baits, switched up to the dive ...more minnow shad & caught 2 small sized bluegill on this lure aswell as this Bass. He was a nice small Largemouth at 12in hopefully I can catch him some other day or time when he's bigger. This here is my favorite lure for this lake. Sunny 56°F

I was out walking around the bank trying to do some spot fishing from a path. ...more Noticed a nice sized Evergreen Green tree that looked cut down in 3-6 feet of water. Casted out about 10 feet past the tree & slowly did a walking the dog retrieve with light jigs on the retrieve. Sunny 60°f Wind was Gusting 16-24mph NW

    Another top-notch Largemouth Bass lake. Excellent natural reproduction and average growth rates produce good numbers of fish in the 13-to 15-inch range. Nine pounders are routine.
