    Fishing for sandies last weekend. They weren't spawning yet. But we kept 27 and caught roughly 45. Also caught a small hybrid I'm holding in my left hand.

    47lb spoonbill snagged below fort gibson dam. 67,000cfs through the gates and turbines. The fish were schooled up so thick, you would stick one on every cast. 13' ...more meat hunter surf rod. Penn 950ssm 50lb power pro. 12/0 treble hook with 5 ounce sinker.

    Hooked up on a big spoonbill. Snagging below Fort Gibson Dam. 67,000cfs coming through the gates and turbines.... I was using a 10' pro angler rod and a bass ...more pro cat maxx 80 spinning reel. 50lb power pro, 12/0 treble hook, 5 ounce sinker. I had the fish near the bank until it made a final run and broke me off. I guesstimate it was 70+lbs. That's my dog Angel trying to get a better look at the fish
