  3. trolled a crankbait, on a 15ft breakline that dropped into the main channel.
    We caught several nice catfish (3 to 6lbs) from this structure too. My 9 year old son ...more (and co-host) caught this TROPHY walleye!
    This trip was filmed for the TV show Structure Fishing. A few other walleyes and several catfish were caught. This episode will air on 2-21-15 on TLN which is on Comcast cable in the Chicago area. The show will stream live at the TLN website: www.tln.com, on Saturday at 8:30am CT.

The lake is about five percent ice covered in the protected bays and coves, but that ice is not thick enough to support anglers. ...more The entrance to Southfork marina is closed for the season. Crappie - No Report: Fishing activity is very low due to the ice around the shorelines and the cold temperatures. Don't forget Lake Rathbun contains zebra mussels so make sure to clean, drain, and dry equipment before transporting to another water body.
