Saw a huge fish boiling, so me and my fishing buddies casted to it and I was the lucky one that the fish hit my lure. Absolutely slammed it and almost ripped the ...more pole out of my hand. Biggest Smallmouth Ive ever even seen, let alone caught. Didnt have a scale but did get a length!
My friend took me up to the Tippecanoe River to do some fishing sunday August 14th, had a great day but was topped off when we got back to the cabin and my friend's ...more dad had a 26 inch Pike in the cooler!! This was the first Pike I'd ever even seen in Indiana and was a sight to behold!
Details: Channel Catfish with a Cricket
Left a pole in the water as I loaded everything in the truck and came back with this guy hooked. Heck of a fight in a #6 cricket hook and 4# line.
Details: Smallmouth Bass with a green twister tale
two nights ago, using green twister, caught this monster on my second cast
Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a Never got the chance to catch
Would of liked to catch the guy. Not sure what got him, looks like large snapping turtle but only 1 large slider in the pond.
Another clear lake that's best fished in low-light periods. Walleye, bass and plenty of panfish available.
Small spoons and spinners are local favorites for several species of bass. Hybrid stripers are ready to fight!
This shallow lake is home to nice Walleye, channel cats, white bass and white Crappie. Slip bobbers seldom go below five feet.
The best fishing here is before Memorial Day and after Labor Day due to the high recreational use. The current state record white bass and hybrid striped bass came from Freeman.
