Eagle Creek Reservoir is a 1,400 acre dam located in Marion County. Surprisingly, the urban reservoir receives considerably less fishing pressure than one might suppose. There is a ten horsepower limit on outboard motors.

  1. This walleye absolutely smoked the 1/4 Chatterbait I was throwing. Chartreuse and white in color. Thought it was a big bass.

  3. Way too hot out today. In the past I had done well on these extremely hot days but today it was just a bunch of striped bass, a catfish and one good lookin crappie. ...more I noticed they are tearing up the drive and gate entrance. Had to go in the exit to launch. Anyone know what’s all going on there?

      Gregory....You CAN adjust the eyelet where the snap ring attaches...search "how to tune a crankbait"

      Hans I have the same lower but when I use it it wants to pull far to the left as I retrieve
    5. It’s been all over the place but lately since the water has been so warm it’s been between 12-19 feet regularly and more with lures than grubs and tubes. This spring/ ...more summer they were way closer to shore and hitting grubs for me more than lures.

  10. Very overcast this morning following last night’s rain. Used a yellow and bright orange jointed Shad Rap 07. Caught two more a bit smaller in that same area trolling.
