Recently shared catches and fishing spots

  1. Details: Shoal Bass

Slightly overcast with a few breaks in between clouds. Slightly cool water but the fish were turned on. Caught 25+ and missed several good fish. Caught a nice 2 ...more lb but the pic turned out bad.

      Beautiful fish! Thanks for sharing
  2. Details: Spotted Bass

Went out to kill a few hrs on the river. It was high and murky with all the rain from the north in the past two weeks so the fish were held up on the bank for the ...more most part. Missed a couple but this guy slammed it when the bait hit the edge of the water.

  3. Details: Shoal Bass

Got on the water early this morning. Had a slow day mostly. A cold snap hit last night and I think it did something to the fish but managed to get 10. This one was ...more the biggest at about 1lb or so.

I think the world record is 8 lbs. It grows about the same as a smallmouth

@John478 how big can they get?

@Mason_Cizek is right they are a Georgia native and are only here and a small part of Alabama and Florida. They are a species of smallmouth, @bassfishing123 @Ghost0921

Its a shoal bass. Very similar to smallmouth but the markings are slightly different. Im pretty sure they are only native to georgia. @bassfishing123 @Ghost0921
