Thanks for the reports, Connie, keep em coming. As soon as I get my boat up and running, I'll be posting too
  6. Lochloosa Lake Harbor Boat Ramp - Be AWARE: As of 02/02/17, the NORTH ramp has a very LARGE hole at the bottom covered by the water and it will mess-up your trailer ...more axle, vehicle and/or all. Recommend using SOUTH ramp - the one on the same side as the Bait Shop and Diner....at least until they get it fixed.

  7. Details: Black Crappie with a Yellow Jig

Off the bottom in the deep; caught 5 in this area.

Newnans is great for specks, I dont bream fish there. Not sure about Lochloosa, haven't been in a while. I've been choosing Orange because it's easier ...more compared to Lochloosa. I do miss Lochloosa though, and I usually have success there. I would suggest fishing in the pads with grass shrimp. I usually just ride through the pads until I smell them or see them bumping the pads. Sometimes they make you work, but if you manage to find them you should catch alot.

Recently I’ve been going to lochloosa with no success even though I’m around the corner from Newman’s where I never have any success. What’s going on at Loochloosa ...more and why is Newman’s fishing always terrible. Loochloosa is also yielding poor results. What’s going on???????
