Caught well over a dozen grunts on shrimp. We sliced some for our chum slick and as shark bait. Caught them on my Shimano Teramar rod and 30 Iron reel. Fun fishing.

The bait was in the water 2 minutes when the shark took it and made about 40 yard run. Then the real battle began. We were fishing in a 24ft Carolina Skiff, with ...more elevated platform in the back of the boat. The spinner made at least 10 laps around the boat. @swampmafia, the gudie and myself passed the rod around till we were able to release him. Estimated the shark to be a bit over 6 feet.
