  1. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Pinfish on bottom

Absolutely slayed them today. 60+ reds and 25+ trout plus a flounder. Only kept my limit. That's just the number for today. Both of my reds are over 24 inches. ...more Good day!

  2. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Crab on the bottom.

Nice 24 incher in the creeks.

  3. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Needle fish pattern I tied up for specks and mackerel.

    What y'all think?

  4. Details: Bonnethead Shark with a A quick popper on a 3/0 hook. Tied it up for 3 foot bonnet heads I've had crusin around me while I try to catch reds and trout.

Had 3 foot bonnet heads all around me last weekend and got a couple to eat but didn't land them because I was using 15 lb tippet. But now I'm going back ...more with bigger leaders and a few new flies to see if I can't catch a couple on the 9 weight. Whatcha think?!? Would love some feed back on fly fishing for sharks. @flybob @Cowboy713 and anyone else who may know any info?

@flybob that's a good idea, I was wondering how to get longer life out of my flys. I tied this popper up quick because I know it's gonna last maybe two strikes ...more from the sharks...

Yeah I was fishing or reds in knee deep water an had a bunch of em all around me. All I had was my fly rod so I tried and got a few of em to hit. Harder than you ...more think. They aren't always willing.

Man I'd love to give that a try I've pulled up about a four foot bonnet on spinning gear so I can't imagine how it would feel on fly gear.
    7. TheDirtyPelican 0
@King_Fisher yeah they aren't monsters but I had a 3 footer pull off about a hundred yards of line in about 30 seconds and that was fun without landing the fish ...more so I can't wait to try it again.

Some tube flys would be great so you don't get so many torn apart ones
    9. TheDirtyPelican 0
@pabucks I got them to take it but it was a hook I use for seatrout and redfish so it had the whole fly in it's mouth and cut me off but I hope it work with ...more the longer shank.

Sounds good I'm gonna get some wire. Maybe I'll record it. @Cowboy713 @flybob

Sounds really awesome you should record it but I'd use the shock wire tipper or tiger wire maybe even just use a straight 3ft piece of 50lb mono but the cheap ...more thick stuff

A popper for sharks sound interesting!
    13. King_Fisher 0
      Man that sounds like fun!

Go for it! You could also try 30lb wire leader, they won't be able to bite through it. Looks like a good setup for sure

  5. Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Zara Spook Jr

What's better than topwater action every cast? Catching em two at a time! Had a blast in Florida last week. I spent this entire hour catching fish every cast ...more while waiting for the tarpon to show themselves. Eventually the back hook on that spook bent.
