Although natural in origin, the surface elevation of the pond has been raised by a low earthen and masonry dam. The normal surface elevation is 938 feet above sea level. The surface area of the pond is 238.8 acres with a maximum depth of 65 feet.

      Awesome trout, Luke! That is definitely a trophy Brown for a small body of water. You must have been working that jig pretty well to trick it into taking it! Those ...more fish are very weary of baits when they are older.

    Here if you come during the week the ramp is not open until 10 AM. Weekends it opens at eight but you have to wait. Then you must be off the water by sunset. They charge 8 to park and 8 to launch.
