Here's an update from Dee Dee at Taylor Park Marina: "Fishing from a boat is about the only way to catch trout right now. Trolling with cowbells and night ...more crawlers is best, getting your line down around 20 to 25 feet. Also, fishing off the bottom on the north end with worms and PowerBait has been successful. Even casting some Kastmasters in about 20 inches of water worked over the weekend from a boat Lake Trout are slow and light lipped. Some Northern Pike are biting on the east side of the lake off of Mepps Aglia with a squirrel tail." Report courtesy of www.kansasangler.com and Zeiner’s Bass Shop.
Here's an update from Dee Dee at Taylor Park Marina: "Fish are anywhere from 25 to 60 feet. Trolling with down riggers, lures tipped with night crawlers ...more or using cowbells, leaded line and night crawlers five to nine colors out. Bottom fishing and shore fishing are best in the early evening or after a rain shower. Northern pike have been slow since we received several loads of stocker rainbows, but they should start picking back up." Report courtesy of www.kansasangler.com and Zeiner’s Bait and Tackle.
Here's an update from Dee Dee at Taylor Park Marina: "Fishing continues to be hot up here. Lake Trout are between 20 and 50 feet. Jigging, trolling with ...more Rapalas and Flatfish or suckermeat on the bottom are all effective! Pike fishing has been very good, too. Lots of Pike between 10 and 13 pounds were caught over the weekend, including a 25.75 pounder on Saturday. That almost beats our record. Check out the Taylor Park Marina on Facebook for new pictures. As usual, rainbow fishing is good too!
