      the snapper were caught in the gulf many miles offshore. the app defaulted to lake Shelby even though I moved the pointer out into the gulf.

      Hey man! Can you confirm these snappers were caught in Lake Shelby? Here’s why I ask...I had a huge one on earlier this evening - I was fishing from in the water ...more but it damaged my hook so badly it got off just as I had it in my grasp. I am almost certain it was a Red Snapper but with Lake Shelby being home to many freshwater and only a few saltwater fish, I’m now beginning to doubt my original thoughts! I’m almost certain it was a snapper, and not a redfish. Anyway if you caught these in the actual Lake, I’d love to know!! Thanks so much! ~ lauren
