PB Lake Trout aboard the Essential. She was full of piss and vinegar making 8 drag screaming runs back to the bottom. Don’t understand why people say they are like reeling in a wet towel.

i'm a bit slow... and a newby... so structure breaks are when there's cliff's or the water drops to deep areas? i got a nice fish finder but so far ...more haven't found many on the bottom... ready to buy a cheap down rigger as I see lots of marks all the time between 20 and 60 feet when traveling along...
    4. NJ Squatch 1
both but target the ones on bottom. Suspended fish are typically in a negative mood

do you find them suspended or off the bottom? thanks for the tips much appreciated
    6. NJ Squatch 1
Laurent. The fish can be anywhere between 40-100’ focus on the breaks. If you don’t see marks keep moving.

Come on Art. John is the best captain that sails the high seas.
    16. Apparently Pete hasn't met John, alias Captain Yappy Twan Twan? Trust me Pete you don't want to met him.

okay. what types of lures would you recommend?
    18. You want big ones, forget the diwnrigger. Mark them and drop jigs on them
