The pond is about 4' low and I was standing in what is normally water and I saw a limb sticking out the water and on the 2nd cast to the backside of the stick I saw I spooked one so I decided to keep casting to the backside of it and after 5 casts he inhaled it. Then I couldn't get another bite on the Cajun Spin so I tied on a Spro Baby Fat John 50 in Cell Mate and the 2nd cast with it I got hit like a ton of bricks and I set the hook and then he jumped and the line snapped, now a bass has a $10 crankbait in it's face
