    4. You love them critters, Jimbo :) LOL
    5. About all snakes can swim. I have seen a copperhead take off swimming from the rocks I was fishing on. We do have a water snake in Kansas that is banded similar ...more to this guy. I'm gonna have to get out my reptile book tonight and do some checking

lol thats forsure bro.. I very well could be wrong on this one.. but ive found a species of snake like this, if not this one close to it, in the rivers around here ...more floating down them in the summer time. And one last year salmon fishing as well.. that post still should be in my catches.. lol
    8. Looks like a small rat snake to me. At least what rat snakes in Kansas look like when young. Everything is different once you go a couple hundred miles!! Lol

Im not a 100% on it Kevin but i think its a baby water snake and we live right next to a lake, and its on the road this snake was found on. Always got in trouble ...more as a kid for playing with snakes, spiders, ect.. lol

I caught a snake like that years ago! It was under a rock in a little stream. What kind of snake is it a baby rat? I would have kept that in the younger days? Nice ...more !! Brings back some good times ! Lol!
