      Amen to that f1zhn man and I have had bad coon problems. I use the critter cages around the timer and food grade metal 55gal drums for the hopper.

      Nothing wrong with that Roger. i had trouble a year and half ago with the coons they kept empting the feeder every time i went to it there was no corn in lol. Had ...more an ole timer tell me to use vaseline on the legs about 5ft up the legs needless to say i never had a problem last year at all lol. Happy Huntin Roger

      Yeah every once in a while I get a smart family of coons who figure it out... as long as they don't tear the feeder up or completely empty it I don't mind ...more too much.. I enjoy seeing the wildlife,, these days it's gotta be a monster for me to shoot it... it seems like the older I get the less enjoyment I get out of killing things... lol... I save them for the kids to shoot, then I still get the meat and feed off the kids enjoyment/experiences... I'm getting soft I guess, lol, unless it's a monster!!

      Thanx,, got the feeders goin, need to build a new blind next weekend, then back to fishing!!! At least until Bow Season... lol
