Last week I set out to try and catch my first sheepshead with a buddy but I ended up slicing my toe open on an oyster and needed 6 stitches. Today I set out again to finish what I started. Everything was against me, crazy wind and weather, super tides, wind knots, snags, freezing water but i managed to hook this guy (one of only two bites all day) and what a great fight.       @Drew72 it has been for a while. I've tried my butt off trying to figure these fish out on my own and each time something would happen. But that just made this ...more catch that much sweeter finally

      56 air temp, overcast with on and off rain, 22mph NE wind, freezing wind chill, water temp on mid 60s, very choppy conditions, low tide, tough fishing

      Bunch of old pilings and all kinds of structure that could have cut my line and he was pulling drag too on my penn battle. Would have liked a few more but I'll ...more take a 17" sheep, no complaints.
