Haven't been able to get out a whole lot since thanksgiving but today I gave it all day to get one. The bite has slowed down a lot from the cooling water temp. Only had one run all day but it was a full speed heart pounding take that I have been waiting a lot for. Gave an impressive fight and came out to be 38" and very fat. Took a couple pics and released, hopefully not the last of the season.

@abuley34 not yet, a drive down to Okeechobee is still about a 4 hour drive. Hard to do in the middle of the semester

78 air temp, water temp in mid 60s, water clarity poor as normal, a few but not many mullet around, lots of spot around feeding on small shrimp, incoming to high ...more tide, NE wind, slow bite all day
