Took my cousin gar fishing to get his first one on his last day here yesterday before he heads back to OH. The bite was super tough, one of the hardests bites to get but we were still able to get a few. He landed the first one on his first try and I landed two more after that closer to sunset. All of them were decent sized between 31 and 34" long. Just big enough to give a fun hard fight.

      94 air temp. Water temp in high 80s, 15mph S wind, water way up and slightly salty. No baitfish around at all, clear skies, beautiful sunset and a good day to float
