Highlight of my day was actually these very good sized sunfish. These are honestly the biggest ones I have ever caught in Virginia beach, they are usually much smaller. All of them were 9-10" very hard fighters casting the grub over shallow weed and flats. Very aggressive attacks, fun fights. Even got the first one with a bronze nose gene. So it may not be much but these catches were good to me.

86 air temp, water temp in low 80s, partly cloudy to scattered thunderstorms. Water vis low from rain, 8mph NE wind, few baitfish around, tough to find any big fish, ...more water low.
