A photo of tillerenzo's catch

Huge Snapping Turtle I caught with cut shad. I was originally fishing for bowfin and gar when all of the sudden I felt tremendous strain on my line. Managed to work him to the shore and scoop him in my net. Had to weigh at least 25-30 pounds. Mean as a snake though, he even started hissing at me when I got close for the photo. After a few shots, I released this dinosaur back into the water.

I pried his mouth open with my metal rod holder and painstakingly worked it free with my pliers. Needless to say, a scary process. @JustFish

I know I'm not giving up until I get one. I see lots of them every time I go out @seaturtles

Dang well keep at it man. I honestly didn't get my first bowfin for months of trying but then they just started flowing in once I got the first

Nope that's it. Saw a few bowfin but couldn't get them to hit anything. @seaturtles
