what's up guys just caught this bat-ray. some guy cut off the tail cuz he's afraid of the barb

      Next time u see that rookie tell him all u have to do is throw a rag or towel over the tail and step on the ends

      yea i already know a way to remove the hook with out being aware of its tail.

      I have caught several ray missing the tails. I believe it makes them more susceptible to everything. As long as you're careful, there's no need to cut anything ...more off.

      yea that guy scared me. its really inhumane. i felt bad for the ray. but next tine if i catch a ray again i wont let anybody hurt it. hopefully it still the raylive ...more cuz when i release it it swam away

      But the barb will eventually grow back like a fingerbail. Cutting the tail off kills the Ray! Please don't ever do something like this

      Ok man sorry to go off but no one needs to cut off the tail because of the barb. That's cruel and completely unnecessary. Clipping just the barb is like clipping ...more a finger nail. It does unarm the Ray
