South Padre update: the Red Tide is pretty bad on the Gulf side with lots of coughing and burning eyes. The Bay side is mostly clear without issues in the Laguna Madre. Moderate fish kill on the beach with Mullet, hard heads, & Ladyfish being the most impacted species.

Chris Skinner 0No visible bait in the surf besides a few whiting I could see in the wash. Hope to try chucking the castnet here for a bit when we get back from dinner

Backlash . 0Fishing in the bay was slow. Surf fishing on PI was a no go due to the smell of rotting fish and the coughing from Red Tide.
