Working on my first wood carving lures out of some fresh cut branches that I cut and drying them dry. Will be making 8-9 of them! Will have another update when done with the craving

  Yes balsa would be easier but not as strong

  actually be for you carve wood soak for a few days to soften them up it makes carvings them much easier
