Just ordered this a week ago. What are your tips for using it if you have gotten it and how you like to fish it? What line, reel, and rod do you use when using it?

This is the only color I own and it gets bit.

I have trout and I've had the shad and green herring. I've just heard good things about the perch color

Yeah I'm not to good with my baitcasters yet so that makes me scared. Do you have all the colors? @whitebass_81

They like the shad too but wicked perch is also really good. Braid works too but if to get a backlash while casting you're screwed because there is no stretch ...more and it'll just snap

I was wondering if I should have gotten a different color. If I get another it will probably be the blue herring

Yeah I have a 7'6 Heavy rod and I am using braid but might switch. @whitebass_81 @eastonsutley

I've had the best luck on herring color though

In awhile so that the followers will grab it

A medium heavy rod works but heavy is better and fluoro for swimbaits in general. Slow roll it but don't let it hit bottom because it'll snag easy. If you ...more are fishing it fast, let it pause every once

      Heavy rod and 20# mono

Crawl it really slow. I like the floater the best

One of the best ways is to also creep it along and if you feel like there's one following it just stop it for three sec then give it one big jerk and stop it ...more again and that should trigger them

It truly depends on the mood of the fish , yes they like it slow but if your just getting follower after follower and barely any hits , I like to burn it realllllyy ...more fast then just completely stop it.
