This is one of the many fish I caught the other day on a fresh laydown. I noticed tons of shad around the laydown so I casted right beside it and this guy got it on the drop. I was using an Abu Veritas 7' Medium Action Spinning Rod in combination with an Abu Orra SX reel lined with 6lb Seaguar flouro. It was a rainy day with the air temp around 80 and the water temp was around 83.
