Caught a Black Drum on Port Aransas using a free lined shrimp

The black drum were schooled up in shallow water we caught a 6 man limit of slots and 1 redfish not counting all the puppy drum we kept 31 fish they totaled out to 151lbs

  I saw a school of drum three years ago ay Rockport that you could walk from.mangrove to.mangrove on and wouldn't hit a lure, live shrimp, dead shrimp, anything ...more they just parted like red sea. I needed my bow
