Caught her this morning, not sure of the weight. My spring scale said 2.5 lbs??? Obviously broken, this was a hog. Bought a digital today.

  Twin Lakes has some big bass, but there is so much pressure you're not likely to catch any unless fishing at night.

  Loyalhanna by the dam is good. Mammoth Lake in Mount Pleasant. Fishing on the water or from shore?

  Any public places around the area you know of with fish of such size? I have tried twin lakes and parks and have no luck at all.
