We fought this beast for over an hour on a small jigging rod. Made the mistake of trying to grab under the gill plate and ended up with 5 stitches in my thumb!

Tim Steinmetz 0What a beast, and on a light jigging rod besides. Too cool! I'm guessing it was well worth the trip to the ER. LOL! I had a bad experience once with a 40 inch ...more pike that did the alligator roll at the most inopportune time. I was scared to take my glove off afterwords to see what was left of my hand. LOL!
