About Jolthead Porgy

The body is laterally compressed and deep, and the head has a bulging profile. Generally a silvery to brassy color, with a bluish cast. The front of the head is brown with a blue line along lower rim of eye, a whitish stripe below eye, and another between the eye and mouth. The corners of the mouth and the throat are orange.
