About Cutthroat Trout

Body shape is similar to rainbow trout. Back and sides are lightly spotted. Dorsal, adipose and tail fins are heavily spotted. Body color variable; back can be steel gray to olive green, sides may be yellow-brown with red or pink along belly. Red or reddish-orange slash on throat. Adult size: 8 to 20 inches.
