Fished the Gunnison River today with Chet! We caught 27 between us with some nice Bows and Browns! We caught almost all of our fish on 1/8-1/4 Marabou Jigs.I caught ...more the biggest Bow today on a 1/4 oz Black/Olive Marabou Jig. I did get the biggest Brown which I caught on a Dynamic JSpec Jerkbait in the Firecraw Pattern!
Chris & Robert - The Bows have gotten so fat over the last three years! The Browns haven’t hit the Jerkbaits as much over the same time ...more period! They’re starting to eat bugs more! I think they’re learning from the Bows?
Morris- Generally Mid July til November is the best time. Crowds start to thin a little after Labor Day.
